Index Exchange is seeking an Event Marketing Intern to help plan and execute all day-to-day activities related to internal and external events for Index Exchange this fall. This is a paid internship reporting directly to the Manager of Events & Sponsorships and will have exposure to events in the US and abroad.

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must have exceptional organizational & multitasking skills, available to work a minimum of 3 days per week (maximum 30 hours) between August and December, the ability to manage demands under pressure, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have an interest in the development and execution of the company event marketing plan.

You will learn first hand what it takes to organize the full life-cycle of both large scale and intimate events. Index Exchange will challenge you with a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a hard working team. By the end of the fall you will have experience effectively communicating with executive staff, vendors, and working cross-functionally across different teams to achieve a common goal.

Job Responsibilities / Duties:
Assist in the planning, development and execution of all Index Exchange events including but not limited to:
Industry Sponsorships/Conferences
Index Exchange Hosted Events
Company Holiday Parties and Employee Engagement Initiatives
Manage yearly calendar and for all upcoming events
Collaborate with Marketing Team and Pub Team on all materials, planning, and event execution
Experience / Skills / Requirements:
0-2 years of events or marketing experience
Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration as well as the ability to work directly with senior clients and partners
Strong time management skills, more specifically the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and take a proactive approach to work schedule
