Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting functions for the corporate and fund entities, including but not limited to bank reconciliations, process journal entries, account receivable & payable, travel expense reimbursement, cash processing, payrolls and supporting financial schedules
- Prepare monthly financial statements for funds and corporate entities
- Consolidate financial statements and communicate financial performance to management
- Prepare fund investors P&L allocations and fee calculations
- Perform budget preparation and analysis
- Coordinate and support for annual tax returns filing
- Act as the liaison outside service providers (servicers, banks, tax consultants and payrolls)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, majoring in accounting
- 1-2 years of work experience at private equity firms or other financial service firms preferred
- Interests in real estate private equity fund
- Must possess an exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must possess commitment to professionalism and communicability
