Job Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors to the office in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer all inbound calls and redirect to the appropriate attorney or paralegal
  • Perform general administrative duties as requested
  • Manage office calendar and schedule appointments
  • Control inventory relevant to reception area
  • Prepare correspondence and packages to be mailed/shipped
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by phone or in person
  • Set up conference room for meetings
  • Keep front office area and lobby in neat and orderly condition
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in both English and Chinese at a proficient level
  • Strong communication skills and proper phone etiquette
  • 1 to 3 years’experience performing basic office and clerical type duties in a law firm or professional

service organization preferred, but not required

  • Ability to handle a large volume of calls quickly
  • Good listening skills and abilities to ask questions to clients to determine their needs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized
  • High school diploma required; associate degree and /or bachelor’s degree in office administration preferred
